Charles Murray brings more than 20 years of sales and marketing experience to Dividend Capital Securities as president. Before joining Dividend Capital Securities, Mr. Murray was senior managing director for Spencer Trask Ventures, Inc., where he developed their sales and marketing efforts through multiple channels. Before that, he had a long and extensive career with OppenheimerFunds, Inc. In 2001, he was senior vice president and corporate spokesperson for OppenheimerFunds, Inc., responsible for representing the company at national and regional sales conferences, and specializing in developing presentations for all sales and marketing campaigns. From January 1998 until December 2000, Mr. Murray was senior vice president and director of sales, in which he developed and implemented the company’s national and regional brokerage distribution channel. From March 1996 until December 1997, he served as senior vice president and eastern division sales manager, where he was responsible for 50% of the firm’s gross sales volume and managed a team of 20 regional sales managers.

From June 1986 until September 1990, he held various senior management positions, in which he developed business strategies for increasing sales. Mr. Murray has a bachelor’s degree in economics from Saint Peter’s College.
