- The Investment Program Association (IPA), a national trade association, was formed in 1985 to provide the Direct Investment industry with effective national leadership.
- For the last 25 years, the IPA has successfully championed the growth of Direct Investment products, which have increased in popularity with financial professionals and investors alike.
- As the leading advocate for the inclusion of Direct Investments in a diversified investment portfolio, IPA’s mission is to promote Direct Investments through education.
- The IPA is focused on helping the industry identify some best practices such as:
- How product performance information is reported or disclosed;
- Improving the overall transparency;
- Raising awareness of product in the market through education products;
- Training and promotional efforts and
- Continuing to communicate with advisors to make sure they’re educating their clients on how Direct Investments can help to truly diversify portfolios.
- IPA members include 130 Direct Investment product sponsors, broker-dealers and Direct Investment service providers.
