The Equipment Committee of the IPA is charged with setting priorities and developing action plans specific to those members involved in the offering and distribution of investment products that focus on the equipment asset class. The primary objective of this committee is to facilitate the recognition and growth of the equipment asset class within the alternative investment industry by, among other things, supporting the investors, sponsors, broker dealers, financial representatives and other industry participants in the asset class through increased awareness and training and education about the asset class, as well as the various types of products in the asset class and how these products fit into an overall investment portfolio.
