IPA AltsGlobal Draws 200+ Global Private Markets Leaders to London

11.18.25

More than 200 executives from across global private markets convened in London last week for the inaugural IPA AltsGlobal, marking a significant moment in the launch of the IPA’s new international platform.

The program opened with a keynote from Cailin Burch of the Economist Intelligence Unit, who provided a sharp, forward-looking examination of global economic conditions, capital flows, and the policy environment shaping private markets in the year ahead.

Participation throughout the event reflected strong support from leading firms around the world, with senior voices from asset managers, wealth platforms, private banks, and service providers contributing to two days of substantive dialogue. Sessions focused on cross-border fundraising and distribution, operational readiness for global platforms, regulatory developments, and the evolving role of private wealth in global capital formation. Additional discussions on infrastructure, real assets, and secondaries examined how investment strategies are shifting in response to changing economic and policy dynamics.

Planning is already underway for AltsGlobal 2026, which will return to The Langham in London, November 9-11, 2026.
